Biography

Clarise Mostert obtained her PhD in 2015 and has been a lecturer in Business Management and Entrepreneurship since 2011 on the NWU Vaal Campus. She published a number of research articles focusing on Entrepreneurship Education. Clarise is passionately curious about finding ways to integrate the use of technology to re-invent teaching and learning strategies in Higher Education. In 2018 and 2019 she presented a workshop on technology integration for teaching and learning purposes of all three campuses of the NWU. In 2018 she was nominated for a Distinguished Teaching Excellence Award. Clarise is also an active member of TELIT-SA since 2018. Currently, she is exploring the Open Educational Resources (OERs) landscape with the focus on the use of OERs within the Commerce Education domain.
