Canada - Cranbrook
I am a teaching and learning specialist at College of the Rockies in Cranbrook, BC, Canada, located on the west slope of the Rocky Mountains. Love living in the St. Mary River Valley. Moved here 2 years ago from Victoria, BC, where I worked at the University of Victoria for 15 years.
My research interests are digital portfolios (dissertation focus and beyond), Indigenous pedagogies, professional learning, and multimodal representation. My professional interests (right now) are intercultural competencies, relational ways of knowing and being, role of affective domain in active learning (heavy on Fink), and generally self-in-relation-to reflective practices. Moving it all online now. I love languages and literature, too. I was a Spanish instructor in a former lifetime.
