Sonia Chiasson

Biography

Sonia Chiasson is an assistant professor in the School of Computer Science at Carleton University in Ottawa, Canada. Her main research interests are in usable security: the intersection between human-computer interaction (HCI) and computer security. Current projects are on user authentication, usable security for mobile devices, and computer games for teaching about computer security. She is the project leader for the Human Behaviour and Computer Security for NSERC ISSNet. Before moving to Ottawa, she was a full-time instructor in the Department of Computer Science at the University of Saskatchewan and a member of the HCI Lab.
