Biography

Job is the principal investigator of the Ambient Experience Lab at OCAD's digital futures initiative.

Job is a professor of Design at OCAD University, Canada's "university of the imagination." OCADU is dedicated to art and design education, practice and research and to knowledge and invention across a wide range of disciplines.

Job is a fellow at the i-Think program, which is part of the Desautels Centre For Integrative Thinking at Rotman Business School. The i-Think Program develops and delivers integrative thinking programs aimed to improve K12 education. He is also a design strategy consultant at Rotman's designworks.

While in the Netherlands, Job was a Strategic Design Consultant at Philips Electronics in the Innovation Design Group. In his tenure at Philips, he worked extensively in design research, e-design and strategic design. Job developed the award-winning Ambient Experience Design service and has implemented ambient experience concepts in hospitals, the hospitality industry and public spaces around the world. He has lectured and presented many of these projects in Japan, Italy, France, Switzerland, Germany and the United Kingdom.
