SITE 2016 Meeting
Hello, everyone. I hope you are doing well.
The SITE conference is just a few days away! This email contains some updates about events and a few reminders.
1 - Conference information is available on the SITE websites. The main SITE website is online at http://site.aace.org/. Here you'll find general information about the conference. You can also register for the conference and access your MYSITE portal. The Academic Experts site at https://www.academicexperts.org/conf/site/2016/ includes specific information about conference sessions.
2 - Please be sure to attend our Social Studies Education SIG meeting on Wednesday, March 23, from 12:30pm to 1:45pm. The location of our meeting will be in the final printed program and online on the Academic Experts schedule - https://www.academicexperts.org/conf/site/2016
3 -There will be food available for the SIG meetings! Attendees will be able to get a lunch from a central location (Regency C) and bring it to the SIG meetings. You will need to sign your name and indicate what SIG meeting you are attending.
4 - At our SIG meeting we must elect a co-chair. SITE changed the SIG leadership structure so that co-chairs each serve 2-year, non-concurrent terms. Thus, going forward we will hold an election each year to select a new co-chair. Please email me if you are interested in serving as co-chair (I am happy to answer questions about responsibilities).
